Introduction

 

LMT  ( ACN 684252364, ABN 47684252364 ) asks you to consider our Terms and Conditions for which we will endeavour to keep as recent as is relevant.  

 

Agreed

• By booking with us, paying the deposit and full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of LMT laid out below. 

• We will ask you for your signature upon agreeing. 

• With updates published, LMT reserves the right to amend these with ample notification.

 

All Monies

• LMT operates in AUD only.  

• Secure your booking with a deposit of  A$1,000.00 per person. This is a rolling deposit,  which does not expire. 

• Our prices are based on per person in a twin share in your own apartment.   

• Our single supplement is an additional 7%.  We encourage you to travel in pairs, however, if you are on your own, let us know if you don't mind a flat mate. We'll do our best to match as possible. 

• Adjustments to our pricing structure due to exchange rates, local taxes, or price fluctuations with our planned events may occur. We will tell you in advance. 

• Full balance of payment must be no later than 90 days prior to your commencement date with LMT. 

• Cancel up to 120 days prior to departure, you will receive a full refund minus $500 AUD per person to cover service fees.

• Cancel between 119 and 91 days prior to departure and you will forfeit your $1000 deposit.

• Cancellations within 90 days incur a 70% cancellation fee. 

• Should we be able to fill your spot before we depart, we will refund up to 100% of the payment we have retained.

• Your cancellation refund  will be evaluated by LMT depending on  your circumstance. If LMT agrees to your nominee, you are able to transfer your booking to someone else. 

• All payments are by bank transfer.  A receipt will be issued once full payment is received. 

• If LMT has to cancel, we will notify you immediately with a full refund.

• LMT is not responsible for any personal expenses such as airline tickets or land transport outside your time with us.  

 

Responsibilities / Insurances  

• Your travel insurance is mandatory.  We recommend you consider full comprehensive insurance for your time with LMT. 

• Ensure you are suitably fit, of good health and  with no ongoing ailments to allow full participation, as we walk often and some villages have hills. Comfortable footwear is paramount. 

• LMT is non-smoking.  

• We all must consider other members of the group if any of us fall sick during our time together. Honesty and care toward others is expected. 

• All members require a current passport with at minimum 6 months validity after the return date of any tour.  Passport and visa requirements are not our responsibility. Check your home government for details. LMT cannot be held responsible for any delays, damages or losses, related to improper documentation.

• We take photos and videos throughout our time together for publication and use on LMT's platforms. Tell us and the group prior if you prefer anonymity. 

• Once underway, LMT reserves the right to consider cancelling any participant if we feel you become unsuitable and a disruption to our group. You will be reimbursed only for unused services. 

• Any disputes or complaints will be managed as swiftly as possible between parties.  If unresolved,  compliance under Victoria ( Australian ) law with  joint mediation shall proceed within 30 days. 

• For comfort and that of the group we ask you to "pack small".  One hand luggage and a small suitcase  when travelling in our SUV.  If you have your own vehicle, pack as you please. 

• LMT is not responsible for any baggage and personal effects.

• LMT assumes no liability for any acts or omissions of any supplier  - accommodation, planned events, schedule changes, property or bodily damage, accidents or injuries. 

• Force Majeure - LMT is not responsible for performing our obligations and will not be responsible for any resulting damages. LMT may vary or cancel any itinerary or activity without any obligation or liability. 

• You are responsible for yourself if partaking in any outside activities beyond our LMT schedule. LMT is not liable for any disruption, injury or personal loss. 

• As drivers we are fully cognizant and assume a great deal of responsibility for your safety and wellbeing in our SUV's.  We abide by the Terms and Conditions of the car rental company and rest assured we take out full comprehensive insurance. 

 

Itinerary and Travel Code 

• All possible effort will be made to adhere to the published itinerary.  Occasionally circumstances may modify our plan due to weather, hefty price increases, or joint group preference for other options. 

• LMT reserves the right to change the day as we see is beneficial to the entire group. 

• As participants, you have the freedom to explore other activities but you will not be reimbursed for any unused services as planned at the time of your booking. 

• Our accommodation is within the Borgo of Lajatico - festivities, noisy behaviour, and drunkenness is frowned upon.  We reserve the right to ask you to tone it down. 

• LMT prefers all guests are fully vaccinated against Covid 19. If you test positive during your time with LMT - Italian Law will dictate your quarantine regulations. LMT is not liable for any outside medical costs. 

• If you are dissatisfied with your accommodation, you have the right to choose another at your own expense. LMT will  charge you an additional daily transport fee. 

• Dietary allergies must be notified to LMT at the time of your booking.  We will do our best to provision these in your apartment for your breakfasts, and we will notify our planned eating houses. LMT is not liable if a third party does not adhere to our notification.

• Abuse of alcohol  or any drug taking is strictly forbidden.  

• By entering into our group, you understand that travel involves compromise to accommodate diverse wishes, travel goals, personalities and physical abilities.

• It is essential you pack your own toiletries for the 7 nights.  Any forgotten medications are at your own expense.

• A more detailed itinerary with inclusions and exclusions will be emailed to you at the time of your booking.  

 

Whilst with LMT know that both Pina and Jennifer are fluent in Italian and we will endeavour to help you in every way possible if you run into minor issues, difficulties or confusions.
